This is the original artist`s proof signed by the artist for the limited edition print run created from the original oil painting entitled `All those moments`. The proof is larger than the limited edition prints, at 52 x 36 cms. Printedon 350gsm archival paper.
The painting shows the iconic Hachiko crossing in Shibuya, Tokyo. Figures under colourful umbrellas cross the junction. Featured on the advertising signboards are characters from Ridley Scott`s Bladerunner including the haunting final `Tears in Rain` scene where the android Roy Batty confronts his mortality.
I added these visual elements as Tokyo at night echoes some of the images from that superb piece of film making.
